1/2 cup hazelnuts, ground
6 oz chocolate
1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup + 2 tablespoons sugar
5 eggs, separated
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1/8 teaspoon tartar
glaze:
9 oz chocolate
3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 tablespoon corn syrup
steps:
- preheat oven to 190*C. butter and flour 9 inch round pan.
- melt chocolate and butter. add hazelnuts and 2/3 cups of sugar.
- add egg yolks one at a time.
- sift flour and cocoa. add to chocolate mixture.
- beat eggwhites and tartar. add 2 tablespoons sugar.
- fold into chocolate mixture.
for glaze:
- melt all together.
- pour over cooled cake. decorate with hazelnuts.
